Welcome to Sg Biz Search ("Platform"), a free-to-use business search service for Singapore.

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of our Platform. By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use our service.

1. The Service

Sg Biz Search provides a free search service for publicly available business information in Singapore. The data displayed on the Platform is sourced from data.gov.sg, an open data source provided by the Singapore government.

2. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

a. Data Accuracy.

The data on our Platform is provided "as is" from data.gov.sg. While we aim to display the information accurately, we cannot guarantee its completeness, accuracy, or timeliness. We are not responsible for any errors or omissions in the data. You are encouraged to verify critical information from official sources.

b. No Guarantees.

Our service is provided to you on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis without any warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

c. Limitation of Liability.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sg Biz Search will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Platform. This includes, but is not limited to, damages for loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses.

3. Advertising

The Platform is funded by advertising. By using the Platform, you acknowledge and agree that we may display advertisements, and that the presence of these ads does not imply endorsement of the advertised products or services.

4. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in the Platform, including all content, software, and design (excluding the open data from data.gov.sg), are owned by OWL STUDIO Singapore or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the Platform without our express written permission.

5. Prohibited Use

You agree not to use the Platform for any of the following:

  • Using automated systems, bots, or scrapers to access the Platform for any purpose without our prior written consent.
  • Interfering with the security or functionality of the Platform.
  • Using the data for any unlawful purpose.

6. Governing Law

These Terms of Use and your use of the Platform shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore. Any disputes arising from these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
